The radiation emitted by mobile phones is a form of electromagnetic radiation known as radiofrequency (RF) radiation. While the RF radiation emitted by mobile phones is considered non-ionizing and therefore less harmful than ionizing radiation, some studies have suggested that it may still have negative effects on human health. For example, a 2018 study published in the journal Environment International found that people who regularly carry their mobile phones on their bodies had higher levels of RF radiation exposure compared to those who did not.
